Наступний прийом анікса - двозначність. У нашій промові є багато слів, які мають кілька значень (омоніми). Прийом підміни полягає в тому, щоб послідовно вжити слово спочатку в одному сенсі, а потім в іншому. Або вжити слово в одному значенні, а в іншій частині фрази натякнути на друге значення.
